Safety and Burning Tips!!!!

At JSM we want to ensure you experience maximum enjoyment and pleasure from our products. We take great pride in each item we make and use the finest quality ingredients. It is very important that you burn your candles responsibly to ensure safe use each time. So below we have some guidelines to ensure your candle last long and smell amazing.

• Remove all Packaging before lighting
• Place on a protected, heat resistant, dry surface away from anything that can catch fire
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• KEEP WICK TRIMMED!!!!
• If smoking occurs, check for drafts or high traffic areas, this will cause flame to flicker and smoke. If still having issue extinguish candle TRIM THE WICK.. and relight
• Keep wick centered and wax pool free of wick trimmings and any other combustible materials
• Never leave candles unattended while burning, Keep insight at all times
• Keep matches and lighters away from children
• Teach everyone in your house the rules of safe candle burning
• Do not touch container while candle is burning under any circumstance. If you must move candle extinguish then move.
• If you notice flame touches side of glasses extinguish candle
• Do not use if jar is cracked, chipped, or scratched.

Candle Storing!!!!

Candles are very sensitive and temperamental. To ensure you get the strongest fragrance each time you burn follow the below guidelines.

• Keep candles stored in cool, dry place away from direct lighting of any form. Storing a dark place is best.
• It is best to store between 50-85 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

Burn Process!!!

• When you first burn candle please ensure to burn for a minimum of 3 hrs to achieve a full melt pool.
• Never burn candle for longer than 4 hours
• Discarded when you have 1/2 inch of wax remains
